Financial Position of WWCC
As I won’t be at the AGM in June, the committee has decided to outline our financial position at the moment and predicted budget outcome for the following financial year. I presented this at our meeting Monday night for those in attendance. Please email me if you have any comments or questions.
I would like to also remind members that all positions for the committee are declared vacant at the end of June, and if you would like some new blood and energy in our club, please consider nominating for a role.

Comp Night Tomorrow
Good morning,
This is just a short reminder that tomorrow night Monday 8th April is our competition night.
Don’t forget that our new starting time for comp night’s starts tomorrow night and we start at 6:30.
(Actually, if we could be ready to start by 6:25 tomorrow that would be great as Colleen has a few announcements).
It would be really appreciated if we could get our prints on the stands by 6 pm to give our judge time to have a good look. (Please remember not to put image titles on the front).
As I have previously said we do understand this may not be possible for a couple of our members.
The schedule for our competition night is as follows:
- 6:00 PM prints will be on the stands for judge to have time for a preliminary viewing.
- 6:30 pm our competition night will begin will the digital judging. We will have a slideshow during which the judge will announce awards and make comments.
- 7:30 pm our digital judging will be completed and we will have a 15 minute tea/coffee break with a chance to discuss any questions arising after the print judging. Any announcements can be made during this break time.
- 7:45 pm our print judging will begin.
- 8:45 pm we will finish and commence packing up.
Thanks for you’re cooperation whilst we give these changes a fair trial.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening.
PS. If you can’t be at the meeting and have digital entries please remember to reach out to a fellow club member to make a note of comments made by our judge, Mick Lynch.

April Competition Definition
We will have all had the reminder email from the website that April’s digitals are due to be uploaded by tomorrow night.
It has been brought to my attention that some members are still a little unsure of the exact definitions for our April competition so I’ll clarify this below.
All of our categories for April will be focussed around the theme ‘Australian”.
Colour will be “This is Australia Colour”
Mono will be “This is Australia Mono”
Guidelines for Colour and Mono:
The image can depict anything that says “Australia” eg: events, people, food, places, buildings, culture and more, as long as the image has a strong Australian theme.
Set Subject will be “Australian Landscapes”
Australian Landscapes can include landscapes, waterscapes or cityscapes. Whatever landscape you choose it must be distinctly Australian.
I hope this has cleared up any confusion.
