Photography biography - is displayed as your judging experence
I've always enjoyed capturing experiences via photos, especially when travelling, but it's only in the last 10 years when I bought my first DSLR that I've had the time to learn more about the real art of photography. While I'm happy to explore various genres, I gravitate towards action photography, and have achieved national and international awards especially in sports and nature images that involve movement. A member of APS, PSA and FIAP, I have actively participated in international competitions, achieving various awards and honours along the way. I've judged local and international competitions, and have volunteered as an instructor for PSA education courses such as Image Evaluation, Image Critique, Creating Competition Images and Photoshop. My local camera club, Wangi Workers, sets an incredibly high standard and keeps me challenged. Several camera and lens upgrades later my next adventure is to explore the more artistic elements of photography.
