Hi All,

We had a great night at our Christmas party and presentations night last night.
It was fantastic to meet again in person at the club.

Congratulations to all our award getters!

Our 2022 comp is just around the corner. I hope everyone is finding some time to prepare their images.

Our next competition night is on Monday 10th January and will be at the club in the auditorium.

Entries will be both print and digitals as per our pre-Covid days.

Our January digital images are due in by 11pm Saturday 25th December (YES .. Christmas Day). That gives us only 11 more days.

Unfortunately, if you miss the deadline there is nothing we can do. The images are passed onto the judge early in the morning on the day after and the competition cannot be reopened.
If you miss the deadline for digitals you’ll still have the option of prints.

The prints sections will close 2 days before competition night (At 11:59 pm on the Saturday before the competition. Saturday 8thJanuary).
You will then bring your prints with you on the night and have them on the stands by 6:30.

Please put the dates in your calendar where you’ll remember.

Our set subject for January is:
Travel – The definition for  “Travel” is…..
Any travel photo that conforms to the “Travel” guidelines which are detailed on our website in the competition rules section.

As well as our set subject we will have are usual colour and mono categories.

Please remember that for 2022 we can still only enter 3 images each in total.

Note: We can only put in 2 entries per section (Colour, Mono or Set Subject) per member.
We could choose 2 prints or 2 EDI’s or 1 Print and 1 EDI per section.
Remember, print and digital for each section is 1 category for the purposes of entering.

Tim and Robin love to travel and capture travel images wherever they go.

Good luck to everyone and enjoy taking and putting together some “Travel” photos.
We may not have had much chance to travel overseas over the last couple of years but I’m sure many of us will have travel images from years past that we can re-visit.
Also, many members have managed to slip in a few short trips to places around Australia and we’d all enjoy seeing these images.
