Wangi Workers Camera Club had a committee meeting last night {Monday 17th March and here are some outcomes from our meeting and discussion:
- The AGM has been changed to 2nd June (competition night) at 6.15pm.
- The reality is that if we do not elect a new President, Wangi Workers Camera Club will cease to exist, and all our monies and assets will be handed over to Wangi Workers Club.
- In the past 10 years we have seen the standard and quality of members’ photography greatly improved. This has been due to members’ involvement in developing new skills, helping each other and accessing all that the club has offered.
- However, it seems that we have fewer members participating in club activities other than competitions. (We acknowledge that some members have moved away from the area and still like to compete).
- Happy to hear, as always, member’s thoughts on club activities and the future direction of our club.
It appears we are a victim of our own success!
