Our club is based at the Wangi Workers Club at Wangi Wangi NSW

We meet at the Wangi Workers’ Club in the Dobell Room at 7.00pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month.

The club’s mission statement is:

“a shared enjoyment of the art and craft of photography in a learning environment”

Use the green About Us button for information on our club and what we do.

The 2nd Monday of the month is our competition night.

  • Our Competition Program is available from our website.
  • There are 3 grades, Advanced, A and B. B Grade is usually for beginner photographers.
  • We have photos presented both in print form as well as Digital (EDI) option. (EDI – Electronic Data Images)
  • Both Digital and Print contests require you to enter online on this website and include a digital copy of each entry. This will be displayed in an image gallery on the website
  •  All photographs are displayed and critiqued by the judge on the night. Most judges provide very beneficial feedback, from which we all learn
  • At the end of the year we run our “Photo of the Year”competition (POTY). The photos entered in this competition must be photographs that have been entered in competitions throughout the year.

The 4th Monday of the month is our tutorial night.

  • We have had many and varied tutorials and continue to do so every month.
  • Suggestions from members as to what tutorials they would like to have are very welcome.

Visitors are always welcome to come along however visitors cannot enter any competitions until they become a member of the club. Follow the link under About us for info on joining.

FCC Interclub Competition

Hi members,

The Interclub Competition will be open for entries on 31st July and closes on 13th September 2020 .The categories are : AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPE COLOUR, MONOCHROME, CREATIVE AND NATURE. Ian and I leave on Wednesday 22nd July and so I will be trying to manage this whilst away. We are not due back until early September. I am hoping to return on time to select images to enter from our website. Normally I would get together with other members of the Committee to select the images for entry but this is not possible time wise with us travelling and a rush on our return to enter the images. Please send me an email if you do not wish for Ian and myself to choose any of your entries for selection.. I hope you understand ..

We only have about 2 months left to have the entries in for the APS Cup 2020. Last year was a rush to get our entries in, so with plenty of time this year I’m hoping for a HUGE response. It would be just wonderful if you could upload 2 images, ANY CATEGORY, to the site. Simply go to Members and scroll down to the green bar that is the APS Cup upload site. The images are the same size as our club, being 1920 x 1200, you also can select any of your images that have been on the My Photo Club web site. If you prefer, and if it is easier, I can chose your images from images you have entered and upload them for you. Pls send me quick email if this would be OK with you for me to upload your images. dizel@bbsol.com

We came 7th last year, so let’s rock the APS Cup this year !
